Recognizing Mass Transport Complexes are part and parcel of any exploration or development in continental margin, abrupt margin and submarine canyon plays. Based on hundreds of kilometers of image and core studies, Task Fronterra Geoscience has determined that at least 12% of deep marine deposits are deformed by creep, failure or rotational slumping. We have conducted numerous studies in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Brazil, West of Shetlands, Nile Delta, the Australian North West Shelf and Malaysia.
