Data Digitization

Vintage data is data which no longer exists electronically.  Many data sets acquired in the digital era simply no longer exist on digital media. LAS and LIS files from routine open hole logs are generally fitted on a tape with ease, but the much larger arrays of data provided by the high resolution dipmeters and image logging tools required a tape (or seven) to themselves.

Task Fronterra Geoscience can digitize these tapes and reconstruct digital image logs from appropriate scaled prints. Digitization of tadpole displays or transcriptions of data listings of computational results are also conducted.
