Further to the announcement regarding the restructure of the US Land business, we are delighted to welcome Andy Duncan to the company as Senior Geologist. Andy is located in our Houston office and will look after the US wide customer base and business from this central location.
Andy has worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for almost 35 years. Most recently, he was a Senior Geoscience Advisor in the North American Reservoir Development Services consultancy group at Baker Hughes. Before then he worked for Fronterra, Z&S, Robertson Research, Corex and Geochem. He holds MSc (Sedimentology) and BSc (Applied Geology) degrees from Aberdeen and Strathclyde Universities in Scotland.
Designated as a Subject Matter Expert in Geology/Sedimentology by BHI in 2012 he has been training geologists for over 2 decades. Andy is skilled in subsurface interpretation, and particularly in the interpretation of outcrop, core and borehole image data. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Professional Member of the Institution of Materials, Minerals and Mining (MIoM3).
